Alte Feuerwache Köln is a self-managed sociocultural center located in a former fire station in the Agnesviertel district. Since 1977, following a citizens' initiative to prevent its demolition, it has operated as a community space managed by the non-profit association Bürgerzentrum Alte Feuerwache e.V.. The center offers a wide range of cultural, social, and educational activities, including workshops, exhibitions, concerts, and programs for youth and families. It houses artist studios, event spaces, and a café-restaurant. Its inclusive and participatory approach makes it a landmark of community culture in Cologne.
