Bio / presentation

We are a professional association made up of nearly 300 private publishing houses from across Spain. Our mission is to defend the freedom to publish and the free circulation of books, support our member publishing companies, serve as a meeting point between publishers and the general public, and promote reading in our society. We are also actively involved in the publishing sector. We are a founding member of the Federation of Publishers’ Guilds of Madrid and the Madrid Book Chamber, and we have contributed to the launch of LIBER and the creation of CEDRO.
