Bio / presentation

AEVI (Spanish Video Game Association) was founded in 2014 after the restructuring of former aDeSe. It aims to bring together all stakeholders in the video game value chain—developers, publishers, distributors—under one organization to defend and promote this rapidly growing technological sector in Spain. AEVI works to strengthen the local industry, attract investment, and create jobs. It collaborates with public authorities to implement programs that support video game development, while defending intellectual property and fostering a sustainable model that includes both physical and digital markets. The association also seeks to highlight the cultural and innovative nature of video games and to encourage responsible consumption in line with the PEGI rating system. AEVI positions Spain as a leading hub for gaming in Europe.
