Bio / presentation
The Galician Association of Translation and Interpreting Professionals (AGPTI) was created in response to the precarious working conditions and limited visibility often experienced by professionals in the sector. Born from the conviction that collective action is the only way to bring about change, AGPTI aims to build a collaborative platform for translators and interpreters working in Galicia. Its main goals are to improve working conditions in the Galician language services market, promote the use of Galician across all economic sectors, and offer continuous non-formal training opportunities. AGPTI is also a member of the Vértice Network, which brings together professional translation and interpreting associations from across Spain.
