The Professional Association of Antique Books and Collectibles, UNILIBER, brings together antiquarian and second-hand bookshops from across Spain to promote, protect, and spread awareness of bibliographic and documentary heritage. As a non-profit entity, UNILIBER encourages cooperation among professionals in the sector, supports specialization, and advocates for the preservation of rare, old, and out-of-print books. It organizes fairs, events, and cultural activities to engage the public with book collecting, while also representing the sector's interests to public and private institutions. UNILIBER promotes specialized book trade through its online platform and helps disseminate knowledge about the historical and cultural value of books. Its work strengthens the link between heritage, culture, and market, positioning the antiquarian book as a living and accessible cultural asset.
