Basket Beat is a cultural association established in 2015 in Barcelona that employs an innovative methodology to foster personal and collective development through music and movement. Their approach involves using basketballs as percussion instruments in group dynamics that encourage creativity, cooperation, and critical thinking. The organization conducts socio-educational workshops, training programs, and team-building activities in various settings, including schools, prisons, and community spaces. Additionally, they have formed the Big Band Basket Beat Barcelona, an orchestra that brings together young participants and professional musicians, delivering performances that embody diversity and inclusion. Basket Beat also organizes the Festival of Community Arts of Catalonia (FAACCC), positioning itself as a benchmark at the intersection of art, education, and social action.
