BenCuriosa is a Galician professional collective that promotes cultural projects with social impact, exploring new ways of creating culture through innovation, networked cooperation, and community engagement. For over a decade, it has operated as a flexible collaborative space involving diverse individuals who learn from one another and share experiences. The collective conducts research, shares knowledge, builds networks, and designs strategies to strengthen the cultural sector and broaden its social impact. They place care, innovation, diversity, and cultural rights at the heart of their practice. Among their notable initiatives are the “Social Museology Strategies” program, the University Expert Course in Cultural Management (USC), and training sessions on cultural accessibility. BenCuriosa’s main office is located in Arteixo (A Coruña), with a second base in Santiago de Compostela. Their work contributes to a more inclusive, innovative, and community-centered cultural ecosystem.
