Bio / presentation
Brunnenpassage is a transdisciplinary cultural center located in a former market hall at Vienna's Brunnenmarkt. Since 2007, it has operated as a laboratory for transcultural and participatory art, hosting over 400 annual events, including theater, dance, music, film, and exhibitions. Its approach is based on co-creation between professional artists and citizens, promoting diversity, inclusion, and free access to culture. The space operates under the "Pay as you can" principle, ensuring the gratuity of its activities. Additionally, it maintains collaborations with established cultural institutions, such as the Wiener Konzerthaus and the Weltmuseum, to expand the reach of its projects and foster cultural integration.
