Bio / presentation
The Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Conde Duque, located in the heart of Madrid, is a multidisciplinary cultural space managed by the Madrid City Council. Housed in the historic Cuartel del Conde-Duque, an 18th-century Baroque building designed by Pedro de Ribera, the center has been renovated to host a wide range of cultural activities. Conde Duque offers diverse programming including performing arts, exhibitions, cinema, music, literature, and thought, aiming to foster citizen participation and critical reflection. Additionally, it houses institutions such as the Archivo de la Villa, the Biblioteca Histórica, the Hemeroteca Municipal, and the Biblioteca Musical Víctor Espinós, making it a cultural landmark in the city.
