Bio / presentation

The City of Arts and Sciences is an architectural and cultural complex in Valencia, designed by Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela. Opened in 1998, it spans over two kilometers along the former Turia riverbed. The site includes L’Hemisfèric, the Prince Felipe Science Museum, the Oceanogràfic, the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, the Umbracle, and the Ágora. It is an international benchmark for scientific and cultural outreach, blending futuristic architecture with educational and entertainment content. Managed by CACSA, a public company under the Generalitat Valenciana, it offers exhibitions, screenings, shows, and educational activities.
