Colaboratorio IC is an open and participatory community that brings together networks, agents, and practices related to citizen innovation across Ibero-America. It was founded in 2020 after the gathering “What if we get entangled?”, with the aim of strengthening the role of citizens in social innovation processes. It operates without a hierarchical structure or fixed headquarters, promoting distributed collaboration among citizen labs, cultural collectives, public institutions, and independent agents. Following a horizontal logic, it drives collaborative projects, shared learning spaces, and encounters that highlight diverse experiences and knowledge. Through digital tools, participatory methodologies, and in-person events, Colaboratorio IC works to embed citizen innovation as a core element of the broader innovation ecosystem, acknowledging its transformative potential in cultural, educational, and technological fields.
