Bio / presentation
The National Lyric Company of Costa Rica (CLN) is a specialized unit of the National Music Center, dedicated to promoting opera and vocal arts in the country. Since its founding, it has produced both classical and contemporary operas, supporting national talent and hosting international artists. CLN presents annual seasons featuring full productions, concerts, and outreach projects across regions. It also offers training programs, open auditions, and collaborations with the National Symphony Orchestra and National Symphony Choir. Its mission is to broaden access to opera, strengthen Costa Rican operatic production, and build a high-level artistic program that blends tradition, inclusion, vocal excellence, and cultural projection.
