Voltes Cooperativa is an architecture and urban planning cooperative based in Barcelona that uses its practice as a tool for social transformation. Since 2013, it has developed projects focused on sustainability, bioconstruction, rehabilitation, and citizen participation. Its approach is based on architecture that is conscious of the social and built environment, promoting inclusive urban planning open to participatory and collective transformation processes. Voltes also offers critical training on the environment we inhabit, through workshops, courses, and lectures that foster critical thinking about the city. The cooperative collaborates with various disciplines and collectives, facilitating people's involvement to promote shared knowledge.
