Bio / presentation

EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) is the network of national cultural institutes and organizations from EU member states. Founded in 2006, it brings together over 40 organizations from 30 countries to promote international cultural cooperation and strengthen the role of culture in Europe’s external relations. EUNIC supports joint projects worldwide, fosters intercultural dialogue, and contributes to integrating culture into EU foreign policy. It works closely with EU Delegations and international partners to advance cultural diplomacy. Additionally, it promotes values such as cultural diversity, human rights, and sustainability through its activities. Based in Brussels, EUNIC coordinates over 140 Clusters globally, serving as a platform to build cultural bridges and strengthen Europe’s global cultural presence.
