Europe Jazz Network (EJN) is a European network dedicated to supporting and promoting jazz and improvised music as innovative, inclusive, and culturally diverse art forms. Founded in 1987, EJN brings together over 180 organizations from 35 countries, including festivals, clubs, concert halls, booking agents, and national networks. Its mission is to strengthen the European jazz ecosystem through international cooperation, artistic mobility, equity, and the sustainable development of the sector. EJN organizes professional gatherings, educational programs, residencies, research studies, and awareness activities. Through initiatives such as Jazz Sustainability and Take the Green Train, it promotes responsible and environmentally conscious production models. Based in Italy, EJN advocates for jazz not only as an art form but also as a tool for intercultural dialogue, social innovation, and the building of a contemporary European cultural identity.
