The European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE) is the European network that brings together schools and faculties of architecture to promote education, research, and innovation in the field. Founded in 1975, the EAAE connects over 140 institutions across Europe, fostering academic exchange, pedagogical development, and international cooperation. Its mission is to strengthen the quality of architectural education, encourage critical thinking, and position architecture as an essential discipline to address contemporary social, environmental, and urban challenges. The EAAE organizes conferences, seminars, scientific publications, and platforms for exchange among students, teachers, and researchers. Based in Brussels, it works with European bodies to advocate for higher education policies that recognize the strategic value of architecture for sustainable development and territorial innovation.
