Bio / presentation
The European Dancehouse Network (EDN) is an association of spaces dedicated to the creation, production, and dissemination of contemporary dance across Europe. Founded in 2004, EDN brings together over 45 members from 25 countries, including dance houses, choreographic centers, and festivals. Its mission is to strengthen the dance sector through artistic exchange, international mobility, and support for choreographic research and innovation. EDN also promotes sustainability, cultural diversity, and social inclusion in contemporary dance practices. Through cooperation programs, residencies, training projects, and publications, the network advances a vision of dance as an essential art form for human and social development. EDN advocates for cultural policies that recognize dance’s transformative value in Europe.
