Bio / presentation
Farm Cultural Park is an independent cultural center and urban regeneration project located in Favara, Sicily. Founded in 2010 by Andrea Bartoli and Florinda Saieva, the initiative turned a neglected neighborhood into a vibrant hub for contemporary art, architecture, education, and civic engagement. It aims to revitalize local communities using art and culture as tools for social change. Farm hosts art galleries, artist residencies, educational programs, creative businesses, green spaces, and community events. It has gained international recognition as a model for cultural-driven transformation in peripheral areas. The organization combines local impact with global outreach, drawing artists and visitors from around the world. Farm is notable for its sustainable business model and strong emphasis on community participation. It stands as a symbol of civic innovation, experimental education, and creative practice in non-metropolitan contexts, proving that small towns can be drivers of cultural and social evolution.
