Fernando Trueba Producciones Cinematográficas is a Spanish production company founded by director, screenwriter and producer Fernando Trueba, recognised for his contribution to Spanish and international cinema. Over the years, it has produced highly successful films such as Belle Époque (1992), which won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film, and Chico & Rita (2010), an Oscar-nominated animation. The production company has worked in a wide variety of genres, from auteur films to animation and documentaries, including titles such as The Artist and the Model (2012) and The apple of your eye (1998).
