Bio / presentation

Founded in 2011 in Leganés (Madrid), the Hazlo Accesible Association works to ensure access to culture and education for people with disabilities, the elderly, and at-risk communities. Through the Teatro Accesible project, it has adapted nearly 400 plays across 90 theatres in 30 cities, enabling over 6,500 individuals to enjoy inclusive performances. The association promotes universal accessibility, social and labor inclusion, and the elimination of communication barriers. With support from Spain’s Ministry of Culture, an international program has launched in Ecuador. Its mission is to bring culture closer to everyone, especially people with functional diversity. Its vision is to be a leading voice in accessibility across Spain and Latin America. The ultimate goal: to make every theatre accessible to all.
