Bio / presentation
ImpactaT is a pioneering association in the field of Theatre of the Oppressed and Social Theatre in Catalonia and across Spain. Since 2006, it has been working daily to bring this theatrical discipline and its techniques to a wide range of communities, both nationally and internationally. From the beginning, ImpactaT has advocated for social transformation through theatre, promoting alternative ways of approaching social realities that, while educational, move away from traditional pedagogical models. The organization uses theatre as a mirror of society and as a tool for critical reflection, participation, and collective change. Its mission is to contribute to the improvement of our social environment through community-based processes of dialogue and the search for meaningful solutions to everyday conflicts.
