Afluent is a cultural services cooperative focused on music and education, with broad experience in cultural production and management across all stages. We view artistic curatorship as the starting point of our projects and promote self-management, collective work, and self-education as valid paths for development. Our cooperative fosters consensus, inclusivity, and popular engagement, supporting grassroots cultural scenes and amplifying historically marginalized voices. We are members of XES, ASACC, and Cultura Coop, and currently collaborate with various programs of the Barcelona Institute of Culture. Our core values include fair pricing for universal access, intergenerational dialogue, gender perspective, consensus-based decision-making, and labor best practices. Our goal is to contribute to a more equitable and sustainable cultural ecosystem rooted in community and shared responsibility.
