Bordeaux's former submarine base, constructed by the Germans during World War II, has been transformed into Les Bassins des Lumières, the world's largest digital art center. Opened in June 2020, this monumental space offers immersive exhibitions projecting masterpieces of classical and contemporary art onto its vast concrete surfaces and water basins. With a projection area of 12,000 m² and 90 video projectors, the center allows visitors to immerse themselves in a unique visual and auditory universe. Managed by Culturespaces, Les Bassins des Lumières has revitalized this emblematic site, making it a cultural landmark in Bordeaux.
