Bio / presentation
Antígona Bookstore opened on June 11, 1988, on Pedro Cerbuna Street, near the University of Zaragoza. Specializing in the humanities, it offers a vast selection of both current and classic works in poetry, fiction, philosophy, history, art, and film, as well as children’s and young adult literature. It serves as a key cultural hub, hosting book launches, poetry readings, and events that attract readers, writers, and academics. Julia Millán, the bookstore's manager, also leads Ediciones Sin Pretensiones, an independent publishing project featuring works by renowned authors and illustrators such as Daniel Nesquens and Elisa Arguilé.
