Bio / presentation
The Manchester International Festival (MIF) is a biennial multidisciplinary festival showcasing original works commissioned from artists around the world. Held in Manchester, UK, it includes theatre, music, dance, installations, and film. Founded in 2007, it is known for producing world premieres and fostering contemporary creation in collaboration with local communities. Since 2023, MIF has been operated by Factory International, a nonprofit cultural organization based in the new arts venue “Aviva Studios.” MIF has become one of Europe’s most innovative festivals in terms of artistic production and community engagement.
