Bio / presentation

Materahub manages international pilot projects to support cultural and creative industries, encouraging innovation and inclusion processes and a new entrepreneurial vision to face contemporary challenges. Materahub organizes several international Capacity Building activities, aimed at meeting and contaminating skills between local and international experts, entrepreneurs and policy makers. These are projects funded by the European Erasmus + programs, Cosme, Interreg, Horizion 2020, etc.

    EIT Culture & Creativity (EIT CC) is the 9th Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) for the Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries. By fostering interdisciplinary and cross-sectorial collaboration for stakeholders from education, innovation, research, business and culture, EIT CC provides new connections and unique opportunities from its European innovation community across 15 sectors and 30 nations. Its purpose is to help all players in the European Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries to turn innovation into impact.

  • Basilicata Creativa

    Basilicata Creativa Basilicata Creativa is the cluster of the cultural and creative industries of Basilicata Region, Southern Italy. The Cluster is an Association recognized by the Basilicata Region which includes two of the most important Italian research institutions, the CNR (National Research Council) andENEA (National Agency for new technologies, energy and sustainable economic development), together with theUniversity of Basilicata and over 50 companies operating in the sectors of cultural and creative industries (ICT, Communication, Gaming, management and use of the Cultural Heritage, Communication, Publishing, cultural services, performing arts, etc ..) . Basilicata Creativa was born in 2018, thanks to a regional government policy in line with the S3 - Smart Specialization Strategy promoted by the European Commission.

    The European Creative Business Network (ECBN) is a unique not for profit foundation, founded in 2011, promoting the interests of the cultural creative industries in Europe. Given the diversity of cultural expressions as well as of cultural and creative markets across Europe, ECBN works – on purposes indirectly and decentralized – by supporting leading agencies, funders and intermediaries on local, regional and/or national level to help them support their cultural and creative entrepreneurs.
