Bio / presentation

The Xul Solar Museum, located in the Recoleta neighborhood of Buenos Aires, is dedicated to preserving and promoting the work of Argentine artist Alejandro Xul Solar. Opened in 1993, the museum operates in the artist's former residence, blending modern architectural elements with the original ambiance of the house. The permanent collection includes paintings, personal objects, manuscripts, and documents that showcase Xul Solar's diverse interests, ranging from astrology to the invention of languages and games like "pan-chess". The museum is managed by the Pan Klub Foundation, which also maintains the artist's documentary archive. In addition to permanent exhibitions, the museum organizes cultural and educational activities, contributing to the enrichment of the city's artistic landscape.
