Bio / presentation
The Museum of Science and the Cosmos (MCC), inaugurated in 1993 in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife, is an interactive center for scientific and astronomical outreach. It is part of the Autonomous Organization of Museums and Centers of the Cabildo de Tenerife and was promoted alongside the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC). The museum offers over 70 interactive modules, a planetarium with GOTO GE II and Digistar 5 technology, and exhibitions on the universe, the human body, and physics. Its participatory and playful approach makes it a benchmark in promoting scientific culture in the Canary Islands
