Paula Quintas (Ourense, 1983) is a dancer, circus artist, choreographer, educator, and cultural manager. She holds degrees in Art History, Contemporary Dance (Trinity Laban), and Circus Arts (National Centre for Circus Arts), and a master’s in Performing Arts. She is currently completing a PhD on the body and contemporary creation at the University of Vigo. She leads Paula Quintas Cía, a company with over 10 years of experience blending dance and circus. She also directs Danza Alfaia school in Santiago de Compostela. Her notable works include Multiperspectivas, O salón dos pasos perdidos, and Aurora Boreal. She directs festivals such as 6 Coreógrafas and Abanea, and has collaborated with companies like Pistacatro, Pisando Ovos, and Determinada Compañía. As a cultural manager, she promotes professional training in dance and circus through Escena Galega, PAM, and APCG in Galicia.
