Bio / presentation
The Pamplona Planetarium, inaugurated in 1993 and located in Yamaguchi Park, is a leading center for scientific and technological outreach. Its 20-meter dome—one of the largest in Europe—houses the Tornamira hall, equipped with advanced projection systems capable of displaying up to 9,000 stars. The center offers a wide range of activities, including astronomical projections, temporary exhibitions, educational workshops, and interactive events for all ages. It also hosts special events such as public stargazing and lectures by scientists. The Planetarium plays a key role in STEM education, developing programs like "Star School" and "STEM Planet" to inspire young people’s interest in science. Managed by the public company NICDO, it collaborates with institutions and schools across Navarra to promote scientific culture and accessible education.
