Bio / presentation

Plimoth Patuxet Museums, located in Massachusetts, USA, is a museum complex that recreates the life of 17th-century English colonists and the Wampanoag Nation. Formerly known as Plimoth Plantation, it offers an immersive experience where visitors interact with historical interpreters in a 1627 English village and a recreated Wampanoag homesite. It also includes a maritime museum and the Mayflower II replica. The institution fosters intercultural understanding, historical research, and experiential learning. It explores both collaboration and conflict between cultures, offering a critical and contextualized view of colonial history. It is one of the most respected living history museums in the United States.
