Bio / presentation

In 2002, I began my studies in film directing at the Centre d'Estudis Cinematogràfics de Catalunya (CECC), graduating in 2005. Later, in 2011, I earned a Master's in Cinematography from the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC). My professional career has mainly focused on audiovisual direction and production. After gaining early experience in commercial cinema, I specialized in creating content for online and multimedia platforms. I have worked on branded content campaigns and innovative narratives for brands such as Doctors Without Borders, San Miguel, Adidas, Häagen Dazs, Repsol, H&M, Filmin, Heura, among others. Additionally, as a photographer, I have undertaken projects in photojournalism, political campaigns, and institutional communication. I also produce a great deal of personal work in analog photography and experimental cinema, using formats such as super8. One of my strengths is experimental and creative documentary, documenting the creative processes of different artists. In 2008, I co-founded Smegma Films, an independent production company with which I produced two feature films, and more recently, in 2021, I founded Granada Estudio, a creative studio dedicated to advertising, online content creation, and teaching. As an educator, I have taught audiovisual narrative at Shifta, Elisava's online university, and I am currently a professor of audiovisual production and narrative at U-Vic/Teknos.

Main projects / services

  • Amanecidos

    Amanecidos

Amanecidos reflects on the process of growing up: reaching the age of 20 and having to meet the demands of a society as demanding as ours. Through a collage of fragmented, everyday situations, we witness the reflections of these young people trying to find their place in the world. A stream of disconnected thoughts that, together, form a generational framework. To consolidate oneself as an individual: to become a being alone in the face of the uncertainty of the future.

  • Una Mesa, Dos Mitades

    Una Mesa, Dos Mitades

"Una Mesa, Dos Mitades" is a documentary that follows the creative collaboration between designer Sara Regal, the rehabilitation team at Galería Vasto, and filmmaker Pol Aregall. Using leftover construction materials, Sara created a unique piece that explores the value of waste. The documentary captures this process, showing how the space, the artist, and her team transformed a limitation into a creative opportunity.

  • Urgencia Rohingya

    Urgencia Rohingya

A documentary series in collaboration with Doctors Without Borders that explores the lives of Rohingya refugees, stateless people forced to live in camps in Bangladesh. The stories focus on the struggle for water, motherhood, and the search for a home in extreme conditions, in a country that denies them citizenship. These experiences reflect the strength and determination of a people who, despite adversity, continue to fight for survival.
