Bio / presentation
REACC (Network of Community Culture Spaces and Agents) is an open assembly for dialogue and collaboration among community arts and culture professionals across Spain. It was founded in April 2020 during lockdown to collectively address shared challenges through horizontal governance. Over 140 initiatives, including collectives and individuals, have joined to promote community-rooted cultural practices. REACC focuses on three areas: organizational and legal structuring, dissemination of content through collaborative tools like the community culture wiki, and a solidarity fund for artistic and participatory projects. The network aims to build a decentralized and sustainable framework that positions community-based arts as a central pillar in shaping inclusive and resilient social environments.
