Bio / presentation
The Spanish Network for Sustainable Development (REDS-SDSN Spain) is the national branch of the UN-led Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN). Its mission is to engage academia, civil society, and the private sector in promoting sustainable development in Spain. REDS supports the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by fostering dialogue between science and public policy, as well as promoting education and research on sustainability. It encourages local action and innovation toward a fairer, more inclusive, and environmentally responsible future. REDS publishes reports, hosts events, and collaborates with national and international institutions to accelerate the shift toward sustainable models. Through a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach, REDS helps develop practical solutions to the social, economic, and environmental challenges facing both Spain and the world.
