Bio / presentation

The Natural Network of Aragón is made up of the 19 Protected Natural Areas of the region, along with other significant and unique sites from an ecological, scenic, and cultural perspective. The finest places—Aragón’s most outstanding natural enclaves—form part of the Network of Protected Natural Areas of Aragón, a collective list that includes various legal designations: from a National Park to several Protected Landscapes, as well as Natural Parks, Nature Reserves, and Natural Monuments—each designated according to its specific characteristics. In addition to these, the network includes Natura 2000 sites (SCIs and SPAs), a Biosphere Reserve, unique natural areas, singular trees, geological points of interest, notable wetlands, and other elements of environmental significance.
