REMA – Early Music in Europe is the European network dedicated to early music, made up of over 160 organizations including performers, festivals, educational institutions, record labels, and heritage specialists. Founded in 2000, its mission is to preserve and promote early music as European cultural heritage, strengthen its professional ecosystem, and foster cooperation among players. REMA organizes conferences, seminars, training programs, and European projects that enhance visibility and sustainability in the field. It also coordinates initiatives like Early Music Day and the REMA Awards. Acting as a platform for exchange and sector representation, REMA advocates for diversity, inclusion, and equality in culture. It stands as a leading voice in early music across Europe and beyond.
