For Sarabela Teatro, theatre is both a vital need and an inevitable passion. Born as an independent theatrical group in 1980 and established as a professional company in 1990, Sarabela follows a path of emotional intensity, poetic vigilance, and constant reinvention. They work with deep feelings that resist translation into paper or digital form. Their inner cohesion fuels their drive to keep creating. Sarabela seeks a theatre that is bold, alive, contemporary, and true—marked by critical reflection, coherence, and the will to improve. As long as there’s something to uncover, they will keep going. For them, words must not only be spoken, but also seen and heard.
