The Saraqusta Film Festival, launched in 2021 by Zaragoza City Council and Cosmos Fan, promotes historical cinema as a cultural and educational tool. The event blends historical accuracy with narrative storytelling, aiming to engage, inform, and move audiences. Held at the Roman Theatre of Caesaraugusta, the festival showcases national and international productions. In today’s shifting global context, it defends historical audiovisual works as vital testimonies of our collective memory. Its mission is to raise awareness, celebrate cultural heritage, and establish Zaragoza as a key city for cultural reflection and historical understanding through film.
