Bio / presentation

The Secretariat of Culture of Argentina is the national body responsible for designing and implementing state cultural policies. Its mission is to promote equitable access to culture, encourage diversity, and strengthen cultural identities across the country. Through programs, grants, and open calls, it supports artists, cultural groups, independent venues, and public institutions. It also manages national museums, libraries, and archives, fosters the international presence of Argentine culture, and coordinates actions with provinces and municipalities. The Secretariat develops initiatives to preserve cultural heritage, encourage public participation, and guarantee cultural rights as a core part of social development.
