Bio / presentation

TANAPA (Tanzania National Parks) is the authority responsible for managing Tanzania’s national parks. It oversees 22 parks, including Serengeti, Tarangire, Mikumi, and Kilimanjaro. Its mission is to conserve biodiversity and promote sustainable ecotourism. TANAPA protects critical habitats for elephants, lions, rhinos, and giraffes. The parks offer unique safari experiences, guided walks, and birdwatching. TANAPA also supports community development and environmental education. It operates under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism of Tanzania.
