Bio / presentation
Tarabela Creativa is a theatre company from Lugo, founded in 2019 by Carmen Conde (dramaturgy and storytelling) and Diego Gallego (production and commercial management). Their stage productions are rooted in in-depth research processes based on collected testimonies and archival consultation. Their staging aims to connect past and present, where image, rhythm, and a meticulously crafted text engage with social themes that suggest that—if time is not circular—at least stories tend to repeat themselves. All of it unfolds through a pendular journey between tragedy and comedy.
