Bio / presentation
Thomas Noone Dance creates works that a dynamic and engaging, spontaneous and intriguing, that combine music, dance and light to create an emotional experience for the audience through the body and showcases the able and talented dancers of the company. Thomas Noone, a choreographer known for his physical and gestural style, founded his company in 2001, resident at the SAT! theater in Barcelona. He has created over 30 productions with entities like the Grec festival and Mercat de les Flors, and has toured Spain, Europe, South America, South Korea, and Lebanon. As a guest choreographer, he has worked with Ballet Bassel, Norrdans, Ballet du Rhin, Munster Tanzteater, and others. Since 2006, he has directed the Dansat! dance festival at SAT!, and received the Ciutat de Barcelona Prize in 2011.
