Bio / presentation
The Timiș County Youth Foundation (FITT) is an umbrella organization encompassing over 30 youth NGOs in western Romania. Established in 1990, FITT fosters youth participation, social inclusion, and policy development. It manages the Timișoara Youth House, an 11,000 m² center awarded the Council of Europe's Quality Label for Youth Centres since 2016. This facility hosts seminars, cultural activities, workshops, and provides accommodation for young people. FITT also leads initiatives such as converting industrial buildings into youth centers and international volunteering programs, promoting civic engagement and creativity among youth.
