Transmediale is an international festival held annually in Berlin since 1988, focusing on the intersection of art, digital culture, and technology. It brings together artists, researchers, and activists from around the world to critically explore the impact of technological media on society. The program includes exhibitions, conferences, screenings, performances, and workshops that address topics such as artificial intelligence, digital surveillance, networks, and post-internet aesthetics. Organized by the transmediale e.V. association, the festival has become one of the most influential platforms for media art and critical thought on contemporary digital culture.
