Bio / presentation
Zō Centro Culture Contemporanee is an independent cultural center located in a former sulfur refinery in Catania, Sicily. Managed by the non-profit organization Zō Associazione Culturale, the space is owned by the Municipality of Catania and has been entrusted to the association for management. Zō offers a multidisciplinary program that includes theater, dance, music, cinema, visual arts, and educational workshops. Recognized by the Italian Ministry of Culture as a "multidisciplinary programming body," Zō has established itself as a reference point in southern Italy for the production and dissemination of contemporary cultures. Its focus is on artistic experimentation, social innovation, and community participation, acting as a bridge between the cultures of the North and the South of the world.
