Bio / presentación
Centre Habitare is a cultural research and mediation center located in the old village core of Beneixida (Valencia). It was born as a collaborative initiative involving artists, researchers, local residents, and institutions, with the aim of rethinking the concept of “inhabiting” from a contemporary perspective. The center works to revitalize the territory through collective memory, artistic practice, and civic participation. Habitare organizes workshops, residencies, public programs, and exhibitions that explore issues such as rural abandonment, landscape regeneration, and new territorial narratives. Through participatory methods and creative strategies, it builds connections between local communities and international cultural networks.
